Great service. Got 99.999% of the data back. The price is killer, as in it costs a whopping $[...] for my Seagate 4 TB (5 years old) with a crashed head and was told it needed 5 donor drives to get the parts to perform the recovery. Other than price, I would recommend them. Should have bought a 4 TB HGST NAS drive to replace which costs $140 as of 2018. Let this be a lesson, back up your data or buy a new hard drive every 5 years!

All data was recoverable, however when I tried to use the WD Passport I purchased via Datarecovery it was broken; possibly by UPS. Datarecovery was able to get me a replacement free of charge. Would have been nice to see a price breakdown structure. Do you charge by the hour, complexity, etc. I was a bit shocked when I saw the price for recovery.
I was very happy with the professionalism of the staff and the prompt reply as to what needed to be done. All data worked on my new drive as if nothing happened. I would definitely use y'all ( although I hope not ) again and will recommend this company to anyone I know. Thanks again. Also the military discount goes pretty far with some people so It would be a good idea to show that you are military friendly.

I had given up hope of ever fixing my hard-drive, as every data recovery store in my country had said the data is lost but thanks to your hardwork. I got it back. Thank you Data recovery.
Everything went smoothly and every agent I spoke with over the phone and via email where very informative and easy to work with. Everything was recovered successfully but did have one main missing folder that was not on my drive that was sent back but was still located on the recovery backup that you all made in house. Was told I could either send the drive back to have the additional data transferred to the new backup drive or I'd have to purchase a thumb drive at an additional $50 that I was not expecting. Opted to purchase a thumb drive due to this material was very time sensitive for graphic design projects and didn't want to risk damage of the new drive in transit. Other than that it was a pleasant experience working with Data Recovery.
