Datarecovery.com has served clients across the United States since 1997, from single hard drives to large storage systems. Our laboratories are in Edwardsville, Illinois (in the St. Louis area) and Toronto, Ontario, and clients in every state reach us the same way: open a case, print the label we send, and ship the device.
How shipping works
- Open a case at datarecovery.com/submit.php or call 800.237.4200.
- We email a discounted shipping label for the United States and Canada. The shipping cost is added to your invoice.
- Pack the drive in an anti-static bag with at least two inches of padding inside a sturdy box. Our packing guide has photos.
- Evaluation is free under standard service, and you approve a firm quote before any recovery work starts.
Before you ship
Power the device off and leave it off. Do not run repair utilities, do not open the drive, and do not rebuild a degraded RAID. If you are not sure how to pack something, call us first and we will walk you through it.
Local drop-off
If you are near St. Louis or Toronto, you can bring the device to the laboratory. Both locations accept drop-offs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call ahead. Addresses and maps are on the Contact page.
