“Justin McClelland was quite helpful getting my “decade-silent” customer’s job completed. We haven’t produced data tapes in 15~20 years, and we’ve gotten rid of all related equipment. Our current tech staff are not familiar with tapes . Our customer sent me a very degraded QIC tape. Your engineering/tech staff managed to recover some of the data from the fragile 15+ year-old tape. My customer ended up having a data source (that wasn’t found in 2022, when I asked with the first attempt). The provided data files filled in the gaps of what was recovered.
