Data Recovery Specialist
The most important qualification is an in-depth, block-level understanding of common file systems such as NTFS, FAT, EXT2, and EXT3. You will work with current recovery equipment and techniques alongside experienced engineers.
Lead Data Recovery Specialist
Leads a laboratory team and sets the standard for professionalism and competence. Requires the file system knowledge above, a working understanding of hard drive internals and firmware, and experience with current recovery tools. Salary is well above the industry standard and varies with experience. Multi-year contracts are available.
