What it does
- Sends files and gives you a share link the moment the upload starts, so you can pass it on before the transfer finishes.
- Opens a link someone sent you and saves the files, waiting on its own while the sender is still uploading.
- Keeps a list of the links you have made, with their status, and lets you copy or remove them.
- Optionally contributes a capped amount of your free disk space to the network, in the background.
How it works
Each file is encrypted on your computer before it leaves, and only encrypted pieces are ever stored elsewhere. The people you share with open the link and download directly. barydata does not keep your files or your keys.
What you need
- Windows. The program runs as a normal user, with nothing to install as administrator and nothing left listening on your machine.
- The first time you send, you confirm a mobile number or email address with a code.
