ESS Data Recovery's sponsorship of the Greater St. Louis
Regional Botball Competition is a source of pride for the company.
The competition fosters interest in science, math,
and engineering among students. Hundreds of high school and middle school
students compete in teams at the annual tournament.
The tournament is part of a larger national program for annual robotics competitions
with several regional tournaments in the U.S. and even some abroad. Botball
is a program of the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics.
The Greater St. Louis Region's competition is hosted by the School of
Engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, which we
maintain a close relationship with.
Sarah Hunt MacDougal, Director of Development for SIUE's School of Engineering
said of our contribution, "You are making it possible for a team
of bright, young talented students to have a fun and exciting educational
experience".
