At ESS, we believe that an important part of a successful business is community
outreach. Here are some of the programs we are involved in.
ESS Data Recovery is a continuing sponsor of the annual Greater St. Louis
Regional Botball Competition hosted by the School of Engineering at
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The competition fosters
interest in science, math, and engineering among students.
Hundreds of high school and middle school students compete in teams and
every year ESS makes "it possible for a team of bright, young talented
students to have a fun and exciting educational experience"....

At ESS, we have implemented an "ARISS" program for local school
children, especially those who are disabled and mentally challenged. "ARISS"
stands for Amateur Radio on the International Space Station. This program
allows a licensed radio station to communicate with the International Space
Station....
